One of the things that is always top of mind after the Boston Marathon bombing, is safety and security while running  a large race.

A few days ago, it was announced that there will be a special force of “running police” running the course of the Tokyo Marathon. They will be a relay team of sorts, handing off every 10 km. They will be equipped with cameras that will transmit data in real time back to a police headquarters.
